If I were Poseidon I would be very pleased and proud of the situation of my temple. One of the finest views I ever seen. Ancient greeks had an excellent taste!

There are two ways to get to the temple , the easiest is to take the bus . The most rewarding way is to stroll along the beach in front of the Hotel Aegeon &ු great place to stay&෕ at the end of the beach is a old foot path that leads up to the temple . It takes about 25 minutes to climb , the views on the way up are almost as breathtaking as from the temple itself . With a little imagination you can think that this is how the early inhabitants reached the temple which made my trek up even more special knowing that I am following in their footsteps ! I visited Greece recently on a cruise and this was apart of my excursion package. The sites of GR, travel to this location were breath-taking. Once we arrived and walked around the site, oh the marvel of the construction and views. I just wish we had more time to explore the areas around the town. Well worth the trip!
