ATHENS Omonoia

Omonoia
Omonia square is the one from the two central squares of the capital (the other one is Syntagma square). Here, at Omonia, is found one of the central nodal station of metro. It has connection with the Line 1 (Piraeus – Kifisia). Around the square there are eight entries – exits, which are found to the busiest roads to town. Stadiou, Panepistimiou, Akadimias, Athinas, Agiou Kontantinou, Patision, Pireos, all of them are central streets of Athens. Omonia is considered that it is the heart of city. From the square you can find easy the way to every region of Attica. The history of the square is identified – as one degree – with the history of the city. It is the most famous and characteristic region of Athens, in which you can see people from all around the world. It is a micrography of the capital.
