STOA KOUVELOU was created by Achilleas Kouvelos 1890.

Before the place was used as an INN, on the Ground Floor food plenty of wine was offered in the tavern and the horses with the wheelbarrows rested in the porch. On the upper floors rooms were rented.

After 1900 other buildings were added and a famous SHOPPING CENTER was created with:

1998 the whole building was renovated by the Restaurant owners. We selected old tiles from 1900. The stone of the building is the original old Piraiki stone with no addings from us.

From 1998 until today the place is a RESTAURANT where you can taste a variety of different local MEZE plates or MAIN PLATES based on local products.

In the LOUKOUMA SHOP the typical Greek Sweet Loukouma is served.
