Nea Ionia
Nea Ionia is a suburb of Athens, 10 kms from the center very close to the Olympic Stadium. Nea Ionia is one of the busier station of Line 1 (Piraeus – Kifisia). After the destruction of Mikra Asia, the area settled by thousands refugees that they named her Nea Ionia in honour of their losing homeland. Nea Ionia is a modern city which is famous for her commercial shops. Walking around the central streets of the municipality, you’ll see a lot of shops that is addressed in each economic requirement. Also, Attiki odos a big new road that takes you in the new international airport, passes from here!
