This huge sports complex is the pride of Athens city. It was constructed in 1984, and has received several international awards for its sports facilities. It ranks as one of the best indoor sports complex in Europe. The state-of-the-art complex is also an important venue that hosts International tournaments for Athletics, Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Handball, Wrestling, Fencing, and Rhythmic Gymnastics. The complex is owned and managed by the Ministry of Culture and Deputy Ministry for Sports.
