The winter of 1941-1942 that followed, was hardest of the occupied period, not only because of the ferocities of the conquerors but also because of the hard meteorological phenomenon’s and the hunger that resulted from the domination of nurses from the Germans and weakness of feedback. It is calculated that in December 1941 the number of those who only died from hunger in the capital were above 6.000 individuals.
