1973 November

In November 1973 the student reaction was intensified. The occupation of Legal Faculty of University Athens in March 1973 from students that protested at the military junta and her violent repression from the arrangement had proceeded. The climax of student revolt was the occupation of National Metsovio of Technical University. The students attracted the sympathy and support of the population and particularly the workers that linked to their voice of protest. The revelation and violent expulsion of students, with the death of 34 of them and the arrest of about a thousand others, contributed to the collapse of dictatorial arrangement of 21 April.
