The Historical and Ethnological Society of Greece has created one of the most important archives of photographical material, which contains more than 60.000 original photographs, 150 albums containing 10.000 photographs, and around 20.000 photo-postcards.
All this material, chronologiacally arranged according to historical events or to specific subjects, covers all modern greek history from the mid 19th century up to our days.
