Fully truthful to its name, Elaias Gi (= the land of the olive tree) is a fine restaurant in northern Athens, where everything on the menu is cooked exclusively with Greek extra virgin olive oil.
But let\'s take it from the top. And indeed a “top” it is, as Elaias Gi stands uphill and offers a full breathtaking view of the whole Athens area, which makes it an amazing choice for dinner at dusk. With the motto “Treating you to Greece...” the restaurant proudly considers itself a “mean of transportation” through Greek Cuisine.
Apart from the a la carte, it offers two delectable degustation menus, a 14-flavour option ( 33? per person) and a 24 – flavour option (45? per person) , that promise to serve you “ Greece on a Plate”. The always fresh ingredients, the theatrical decoration, featuring the old grocery store and corridor-cellar, and the uniquely delighful tastes, such as the smoked eggplant salad, which is prepared live at your table, are only some of the reasins, that made Elaias Gi No1 restaurant in Kifisia No2 in Athens on the Trip Advisor lists.
